# BEAMON 2.0 is here: your AI assistant now works agentically

**This is our biggest update yet. With BEAMON 2.0, BEAMON no longer just answers individual questions, it takes on substantial tasks, plans them, works through them step by step and sees them through to completion. On top of that, there are Projects, your own firm and company knowledge directly in the assistant, and a new document management system.**

Law firms and legal departments stopped using AI just to experiment a long time ago. They use it every day, and for increasingly demanding tasks. That is exactly what we built BEAMON 2.0 for. Here is everything that's new.

## 1. Agentic mode: BEAMON works longer, deeper and more accurately

The most important new feature first. In the new agentic mode, BEAMON handles complex tasks across many steps: the assistant plans the work required, brings together information from different sources and takes the time a task really needs.

What this means in practice:

The goal: even large legal workloads get completed more accurately, more precisely and more reliably.

## 2. Projects: work the way you actually work

Legal work doesn't happen in isolated, one-off chats. It follows clients, proceedings, transactions and recurring topics. With Projects, BEAMON now reflects that.

Organise chats, folders and documents by client, matter, topic or your own projects. That way, everything that belongs to a matter is in one place, and BEAMON has the right context.

## 3. New document management

To go with this, we have rebuilt document management from the ground up. Documents can be moved and organised flexibly between the general documents area and individual projects. So you keep track of everything, even with large case files.

## 4. Company Knowledge: your know-how becomes part of BEAMON

Every law firm and legal department holds an enormous amount of know-how. Often scattered across drives, systems and inboxes. With Company Knowledge, you connect these sources of knowledge directly to BEAMON and make them available to your whole team.

This creates a central knowledge hub in BEAMON that everyone can access, and BEAMON works to your own standards rather than generic templates.

**Integrations are new, too:** you can connect your existing document and practice management systems. Your existing documents and knowledge sources are then available to BEAMON directly. No detours.

## 5. A giant leap – and a new brand

BEAMON launched 18 months ago. Today, more than 600 law firms and legal departments with over 15,000 users work with BEAMON. Thank you! As we grow, we are evolving our brand as well.

BEAMON 2.0 is presented by our namesake: Bob Beamon. At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, he jumped 55 centimetres further than the world record at the time, a record that stood for almost 23 years.

That same idea shapes the next phase of BEAMON: not thinking about technology in small steps, but making leaps possible in what legal teams can achieve with AI. We will introduce the new brand to you step by step over the coming weeks.
